We're absolutely sorry to officially announce that this year's End Of The World (EOTW) that was scheduled for Dec. 21st, 2012 has been postponed.
For various reasons, we won't be able to publicly release logbee 1.0 as originally planned for this coming Friday. Since we thought the world definitely can't end before having seen logbee, we've contacted the organizers of the EOTW event to ask for some more time. And they agreed!
Because of the heavy logistics involved in such an EOTW, the organizers were not able to schedule a new date yet for their happening. But be sure we'll let you know asap. Again, we're sorry for this delay, and we hope that those of you who already had sold their house and quit their job will find a way to get them back.
So yeah, logbee 1.0 will be a bit delayed, but the beta testing showed us we had a few issues to fix and some things to improve before going live. By the way, thanks a lot to our beta users! Your efforts have been mucho appreciated, and you'll all get a lifetime premium account for free.
Another reason for this delay is that we want to simultaneously release our iPhone app. Things are progressing well, and this companion app will make logbee even more attractive. So we think it's worth the additional wait.
Despite these small issues, we're pleased to see that some websites and portals have already agreed to add our log it button to their pages. Some will do it shortly after we'll go live, but some have already put it in place, allowing us to fine-tune this feature too. And if you're a portal for real estate, holiday rentals, cars & bikes or events, don't hesitate to contact us to see why integrating logbee could make your visitors' life easier! (see the technical details)
So instead of wishing you a not too painful EOTW, the whole logbee team already wishes you Happy Holidays and a great New (logbee) Year!
And as a personal note, I'd like to thank the whole team for their efforts. We've had a bit of a bumpy road sometimes, but the goal is in sight! Thanks again, guys.
